The Opinel Complete Picnic + set is designed in collaboration with designer Franck Fontana. It is a "smart" set for "comfortable" meals on the go. Both in nature and in the office. Picnic + set contains Opinel pocket knife N08 Stainless Steel Traditional Classic, fork, spoon and small microfibre cloth.

The fork and spoon are made of stainless steel. They are compatible with the wooden-handled Opinel N08 knives equipped with the Virobloc safety ring, which have been on the market since 2000. So the fork and spoon can also be used with your old Opinels.

The one used by Opinel is of high quality. It boasts high corrosion resistance and high mechanical performance. The blade offers sharpness and high resistance to abrasion (wear). It can also be used to cut hard materials such as ceramics, but then it needs to be resharpened. The advantage of stainless steel is that it does not require special maintenance under normal conditions of use, unlike carbon steel. However, it can reach its limits when it is in prolonged contact with an aggressive environment (acid, salt water, detergent...).
